Catholic Letter of the Week Worksheets and Coloring Pages – Letter C

This packet contains 35 pages of printables and worksheets (plus a terms of use page to make for a total of 36 pages) for learning about the letter C for kids in preschool – kindergarten (and some 1st graders).

This packet provides parents and teachers with a variety of worksheets, coloring pages, and activities to work on correct letter formation, be able to identify letters, and to understand initial letter sounds (including when letters make more than one beginning sound), as well as to have fun and learn more about our shared faith.

Note: By mid-September 2020, packets will be available for all of the letters in the alphabet. Packets will also be bundled.

The packet has been made with Catholic kids in mind, but it will also work for children of other denominations that also have saints and some of the same items in their religious services or churches (such as an altar and ambo).

The Catholic Letter of the Week Worksheets and Printables Packet for Letter C includes both religious and secular worksheets and coloring pages.

This packet is for one single classroom or one family. If you need to use it with more students, please purchase an additional license for each classroom. (During remote learning, you may upload this packet for your students in a secure Google Classroom where only your students and their parents have access. You may not upload it to a school website or your blog or any other sites where people outside of your classroom can download it.)

Pages Included in the Catholic Letter of the Week for Letter C

★ Terms of Use Page

★ Five Handwriting Practice Pages – featuring both religious and secular objects (separated on different pages – three pages are religious and two pages are secular); some word examples: church, Saint Clare, cross, cake, cow.

★ Letter Maze Pages – one for uppercase C and one for lowercase c

★ Letter Recognition Page – one page where students can color lowercase and uppercase C (students can also use do-a-dot markers, since the letters are in circles)

★ Line Tracing Pages – two pages of line tracing to help with fine motor skills and writing practice. Students will trace between a Letter C to a picture of something that starts with a C (all objects are secular, such as cat, cactus, crab)

★ Letter Coloring Page – Color or paint a striped uppercase C and lowercase c

★ Coloring Pages – There are 6 coloring pages included in two different styles for a total of 12 coloring pages (though you will probably just pick your preferred style and only use one set). Pages included: Saint Teresa of Calcutta, Saint Clare, Saint Cecilia, Cross, Commandments, Church.

★ My Letter C Mini Book (secular) – This is four full-size pages to make an eight-page booklet (each page is a half page). Some words included are: carrot, coffee, crown.

★ My Letter C Mini Book (religious) – This is four full-size pages to make an eight-page booklet (each page is a half page). Some words included are: church, chalice, Saint Clare, Saint Catherine of Siena.

★ Puzzle Pages – Two pages to cut apart with saint pictures and then to put back together to spell their name. Students can either do this over and over or they can glue the strips onto a piece of construction paper. Saints included in the C Packet: Saint Teresa of Calcutta and Saint Cecilia.

★ Alphabet Craft Pages – There is an uppercase C page and a lowercase c page. Each page features a large plain letter that students can color, paint, glue ripped colored papers onto, or decorate in any way they want.

Pricing and Group Size Options

This packet has different pricing (licensing) based on the average group size that it will be used with each year.  The licensing fee only needs to be paid once (upon purchase), but it is based on the average size of the group that it will be used with each year.
